About this deal

If using the SP1 with a Serato mixer, the controller will likely be your only track browser, and if using it with a controller, the SP1’s browser may be the more capable option. The layout is similar to Pioneers’ well known controller range for ease of use and familiarity amongst DJs.

The controller includes 16 rubber LED pads where 7 modes are able to be triggered – Hot Cue, Roll, Slicer, Sample, Auto Loop, Hot Loop and Manual Loop. With access to everything from slip mode solutions to loop, scratch, and reverse elements, the DDJ-SP1 is a brilliant addition to your current digital environment. If you're looking to deliver added flare and take your performance up a notch, the DDJ-SP1 is the perfect choice for you. Shift and back scrolls through the different layout views, including horizontal, vertical, library, and extended. Shift + Back scrolls through the different layout views: Vertical, Horizontal, Extended, and Library.

After enabling Serato Video in your Expansion Packs tab, you can load videos, and switch a deck to Serato control whenever you choose. The convenient location of the slider enables quick volume adjustment during finger drum performances. If you’re a Serato DJ user who doesn’t think their controller provides adequate access to certain performance modes and effects, then the Pioneer DDJ-SP1 could be perfect for you. The DDJ-SP1 can also be used with a CDJ-2000 NXS2 or XDJ-RX2 to maximise the use of extra cue points on the new RekordBox 4 software. It won’t unlock Serato DJ on its own, but it does include Serato Video, and the ability to control it. Just like its predecessor, the Digital DDJ-SX, the SP1 has been designed and constructed to be strong and sturdy, and to uphold excitable use.
